Enhancements

Lamination is a finishing process in the book’s printing industry. It involves applying a thin polymeric film to the printed surface of a book cover. The aim is to provide a protective coating layer and to enhance the appearance of a book.

  • Matte – provides velvety texture, smooths the contrast of darker colours and minimizes the visibility of scratches. It provides a subtle tactile effect that gives the book an elegant look
  • Glossy – brings the print colours to life and makes them stand out. Glossy lamination reflects light and creates a shiny layer on the book’s surface
  • Soft Touch – similar to matte lamination but different to touch thanks to an added element of a velvet feel. It gives the book a more luxurious and sophisticated look
  • Others – anti-scratch, a special touch-effect and much more
