Hardcover

Hardcover is a layer of thick cardboard covered by a paper sheet. It is the most solid, durable and complex form of binding. The inner block (folded sheets) is sewn with threads and glued to the inside of the case. To add a value to the book a variety of elements can be applied on the cover such as foil stamping, embossing, spot and 3D varnish, cutouts and gloss or matte lamination to extend its durability. Hardcover can also be made of other materials such as textured paper, fabric, leather, imitation of leather or foam to make the cover soft to touch. We can also include bound cloth bookmarks in various colours and paper bookmarks. Traditionally used in comic books, hardcover is a great choice to give a sophisticated look to the artbooks, premium publications and collector’s books and extend the life of children’s books.

Softcover

Softcover is made of a cardboard or a thick coated paper. It is the most frequent type of a cover thanks to its high-quality and lower manufacturing costs. Softcover enables various binding types such as thread sewn, perfect bound, PUR bound, saddle stitched or spiral binding. Similar to a hardcover the aesthetic aspect of the book can be enhanced by foil stamping, embossing, spot and 3D varnish and lamination. The cover can be extended by flaps which provide space for more information on the book and its author and can be used as bookmarks. Softcover is popular in novels, manuals, tourist guides, textbooks, catalogues, brochures, programmes, menus, periodicals, magazines, journals, reports and children’s colouring books.

Flexi binding

The book combines two binding types – a hardcover and a softcover. The cover is made of a paperboard which is bound at the spine by end papers, like in a hardcover. The inner block is thread sewn. This kind of binding gives the book flexibility, resistance and comfort in handling and enables it to reduce the book’s weight. The cover is larger than the inner block and so the book looks similar to a hardcover. Flexi binding is an ideal choice for dictionaries, travel guides, fiction and popular science publications.

Spiral binding

Spiral binding and Wire-O binding are ideal solutions for heavy publications with many pages and are suitable for hardcovers just like for softcovers. This kind of robust binding allows the pages of the book to be fully opened and turned forth and back which makes it easy and comfortable to use. The spiral can be visible, partially or fully concealed, made of PVC or metal and is available in various colours. Spiral binding is often used in calendars, catalogues, planners, organizers, diaries, notebooks, portfolios, business offers, instruction manuals, advertising brochures and teacher’s books.  magazines, journals, reports and children’s colouring books.

Catalogue / Magazine

Catalogue is an efficient marketing tool to highlight your company’s products, services and to boost your sales. Exhibited at trade fairs and points of sale, catalogue’s attractive design and content must go hand in hand with excellent printing quality to make it appealing to your new prospects. Magazines and other periodicals are also our specialty. You can choose among a large variety of formats, standard and premium papers, special finishes and different binding types including PUR glued, hotmelt, sewn or stapled.

Brochure / Booklet / Pamphlet

If you are searching for simple prints with few pages you can opt for a booklet or a brochure. Both products have soft covers and small dimensions but offer enough space to present your company and its offering. Perfect binding and saddle stitch are the most frequent binding methods for booklets. Brochures are usually stapled and have fewer pages than booklets which makes them a more affordable option. A pamphlet remains a quick, easy and cost-efficient way to communicate with your target audience. It consists of a single sheet of paper that is printed on both sides and folded in half, in thirds or in fourths.

Boardbook

The all-cardboard book is no longer a product made exclusively in Asia. We can manufacture it easily in the heart of Europe. All our board books are made of certified materials that meet European toy safety standards. Over the years of experience, we have developed a basic board book into a true masterpiece thanks to constantly evolving printing solutions. You can choose among rectangular or square formats with round or straight corners. The books can be die-cut in any shapes such as cars, fairy-tale characters, everyday objects and much more.  We can also cut out any elements on the pages, add folded pop-up elements and even perfume inks (fruits, flowers, sweets, food and drink, nature) to make the book a true olfactive exploration for toddlers and young children. Another type of a board book is a zig-zag folded book (leporello) which consists of panels connected on folding spaces, so that you can fold the whole book like an accordion.

Kamishibaï

Famous paper theatre with its origin in Japan has become very popular all around the world. Storytelling is supported by thick paper cards (300g – 350g) with printed colour illustrations on the front side and a script for a narrator on the back side. A standard size of cards is 275 x 370 mm. The cards are packed in a printed cardboard envelope (300g – 350g) which is well protected by a transparent film.

Vinyls / CD / DVD / Blu-ray

Vinyl, CD, DVD and Blu-ray pressing is also our specialty. A vinyl record celebrates its comeback and we are happy to offer you this vintage product in the top quality. You can choose among a variety of colourful discs or opt for a black classic. Modern technologies even allow printing directly on the vinyl disc to obtain a real visual work of art.
